Meet Colin Philip!

Colin is an IT Consultant at CATS Technology Solutions Group.  He grew up in Massachusetts, and then moved to New Jersey in 2005 when he was 10 years old.  Due to spending a lot of his childhood in Massachusetts, he has a big allegiance to New England sports teams.  He attended Rutgers University, where he received a Bachelors Degree.  He then went to Raritan Valley Community College for his CISCO classes, as well as Barnes and Nobles University to get some material to help himself out.

Colin remembers technology having a big influence on him even at a very young age.  He was always around it, and remembers using the Windows 98 ME and 2000.  He also remembers using Microsoft Word and coming across the paper clip assistant, as well as the screeching noise that would take out his phone line in order to access the Internet.  He learned a lot and gained some insight by watching his brother work in the IT industry, and that’s when he decided to pursuit it.

In his free time, Colin enjoys researching and reading about a bunch a different topics, ranging from food and exercise, sports, and music.  He also likes to play video games on his Nintendo Switch and XboxONE.

In the future, Colin hopes to one day sail the seven seas on his Yacht and change his last name to Phillips, so he can be Captain Phillips.  On a more serious note, he does hope to one day learn more about front end developing.

Fun Facts About Colin:

  • Self-Taught musician.
  • I love watching the old Batman animated series.
