Microsoft Pricing to Increase Next Year

Beginning on March 1, 2022, Microsoft will be increasing their pricing on their commercial products.  If you’re wondering why, Microsoft stated that the new pricing “reflects the increased value we have delivered to our customers over the past 10 years.”

There are 3 key areas that Microsoft has revolved their products around: Communication and Collaboration, Security and Compliance, and AI and Automation.  Due to the advancement in these categories, Microsoft feels an increase in their pricing is justified and they plan to continue to deliver this value to all their customers.

The following commercial products will see anywhere from a 8.5% to 25% increase:

  • Microsoft 365 Business Basic
  • Microsoft 365 Business Premium
  • Office 365 E
  • Office 365 E3
  • Office 365 E5
  • Microsoft 365 E3

Although CATS Technology Solutions Group is a partner with Microsoft, we ask you to please understand that the pricing increase is beyond our control.  However, as always, our dedication and continuous support to our clients will never change.
